Sisters and friends, these lab girls took a moment to let me capture their souls. 

Mother's Day... it's practically here!

It is that time of year… Spring!  The flowers are beginning to bloom and the that also means we are so close to celebrating our moms and mothers.  We all have fond memories of mom preparing one of our favorite meals for our birthday or fixing our boo-boos.  Remember back to grammar school how she took the time to make sure you had your brown bag lunch?  Not to mention helping you with your spelling homework too.  Let’s get started now to give mom something back.  Something which she will cherish for years to come. 

All month long, Photography by Blake will be capturing your moments with mom as we created a new “Mom and Me Captured Moments Collection”.  These are fun 1 hour mini portrait sessions which include at least 1 large print and 16 wallets with other packages and products available.  Each order will include express delivery – getting your prints within 2 business days in most instances.  These are perfect items to give back to mom!

Spring is in the air!

Its official, I saw the buds on the trees and the day lilies are beginning to bloom!

Your session:
My goal and style is to provide you with a relaxed, pressure-free experience capturing the candid and innocent moments, while everyone has a lot of fun! I use mostly natural light to ensure your final product is not staged, while staying away from those "say cheese" photos. Instead, you will find me capturing eyes, feet, smiles, love, and the joy of the moment.
 
I do my best to customize your session to your personal needs. Whether it be scheduling a morning session for fresh and rested kids, or a late afternoon / evening shoot to ensure the family is together. I do my best to work around naps, meals, and your busy work schedule. I find that our time should last about 1 - 2 hours, depending on location and our goals during your session.
 
Sessions can take place wherever you feel most comfortable. Depending on the style of portrait, I can shoot in your home or at a favorite park, downtown for a more urban feel, at the beach or on your favorite trail as well. Since I work almost exclusively with natural light, mornings and late afternoons typically work best. A cloudy ~ foggy day can produce exceptional portraits as well.
 
As always, a private gallery will be configured for your viewing and ordering pleasure which includes touch-ups with the ability to manipulate your portraits live from my site.

Toddler Photography

So glad to have the opportunity to work with the Nikki and her Family this weekend.  We were able to capture our young super model as she read her book to us, put her toys away and decided to sing to us a song!  As you can see, we seem to have captured all of her good sides as well!
